2022 Maruti Brezza Spied — Interior Features And Design | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki are likely to launch the 2022 Brezza on June 30. Ahead of its launch, interior images of the 2022 Brezza leaked online, revealing key features and design details. The 2022 Brezza will come with a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger and electric sunroof.

The new interior images of the 2022 Brezza reveal a new dashboard design. The centre of the dashboard gets a freestanding 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It most certainly will offer Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and connected car tech as the Ertiga, XL6 and Baleno also offer these features. The 2022 Brezza will also offer an electric sunroof along with other features like a head-up display, wireless charger, flat-bottom steering wheel and a 360-degree camera.

The automatic variants of the 2022 Brezza will also offer paddle shifters, which we first saw in the 2022 XL6 and Ertiga automatic. The steering in the 2022 Brezza is also similar to the one we get with the Ertiga, XL6 and the new Baleno. The spy shots also show the 2022 Brezza without a front armrest. However, we are expecting to see this feature in the upcoming new Brezza, at least in the higher variants. In addition to that, the new Brezza will continue with the conventional dial setup with colour screen for the MID.

The 2022 Brezza will retain the 1.5L petrol engine, but for the 2022 update, Maruti Suzuki may introduce the hybrid powertrain with manual as well as automatic transmissions. In the outgoing model, only the automatic transmission had the hybrid powertrain. The new Brezza could get the engine in the same tune as the new Ertiga and XL6. In the 2 Maruti MPVs, the 1.5L hybrid engine makes 103PS of power at 6000rpm and 137Nm of torque at 4400rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will continue to go up against the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Honda WR-V and Toyota Urban Cruiser. It is worth mentioning that Hyundai India will launch the Venue facelift on June 16, ahead of the Brezza’s launch. We expect Toyota to also launch the updated Urban Cruiser after the launch of the 2022 Brezza.
